I appreciate you reading Zach, and yeah I think to my own detriment I didn’t write about the countervailing force to what I’ve been noticing, namely that people really do love Winter’s music and are excited about him as an artist. There is clearly a much larger mechanism working behind and around him, but that doesn’t mean that people can’t enjoy his music genuinely.
Cameron is a stunning singer. And while I am jealous of getting to see the Carnegie Hall show, I really appreciate you sharing your thoughts on it. Funny enough, I was lucky enough to see Geese play in a record store in Detroit in ‘23 and feel very fortunate to have been there. I also feel lucky every time I put on Heavy Metal tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
